Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This quarto volume is illustrated with B&W facsimiles of watercolors by H. W. McVickar. It contains the verse of such poets as Sir John Suckling, Austin Dobson, Walter Learned & George A. Baker among others. Condition: spine ends & corners a bit frayed; mild shelfwear to binding; mounted illustration on the front cover is age-toned; else very good. The dark green cloth binding is ornamented with gilt lettering on the spine & silver lettering on the front cover; also on the front cover is a mounted color plate depicting a young woman dressed in the fashion of the late 1880s. 76 pages.
