Cloth. Condition: Very Good. First Ediiton. Illustrated. 195 pages. Crowell's Handy Information Series. Scarce early American instructional with history, etiquette, glossary, rules with index, etc. Although an American publication, the author is clearly British, and mentions the possibly of an "American invasion" based largely on the recent, stunning and stinging (to the home crowd) victory of Walter Travis in the Amateur Championship of 1904. How insightful he was! Nice clean tight copy. Original bookstore label on the lower pastedown, owner name at top. No damage to the green cover cloth; no underlining, marginalia, soiling, creases, tears, etc. Covers protected in mylar. Size: 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall.
