No dust jacket. Robert McLaughlin [b. 1908] was an editor for Time (from 1947) and author who wrote several other books, including the following: THE AXE FELL (1939); GAYDEN (a play his wife produced, 1949); THE WALLS OF HEAVEN (1961); and the like.
