Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Charming copy in bright clean condition although fairly edge worn and bumped at the corners. Fresh looking blue cloth spine. No obvious inscriptions, marks or colouring in and the pages are clean throughout, if a little toned looking as a result, most probably, of the paper stock used in the production of the book. Front cover shows father, wearing a smart suit, sitting in a chair surrounded by his children and, apparently, telling them interesting stories.

Undated but c. 1950 with numerous colour/black illustrations; tightly bound in pictorial boards with discoloured red cloth spine. Dust jacket not price-clipped; shows pirate and parrot and an Oriental artist; wear, tear, small losses and scuffs to edges and corners. Internally, pages are clean and bright. Overall, a good, tidy copy. Used - Good. Good hardback in Fair dust jacket.
