Condition: Good. London 1799 first edition. T N Longman and O. Rees. Includes: "An Appendix in which are included three letters of Gray's never before published in this country." 544p. Octavo hardcover. Original leather boards with later black paper backstrip. Inner hinges cracked. Owner bookplate (stamped sold by Maryland Historical Society). Good, binding secure; text mostly clean with just a few pages with discoloration. All text lightly toned.
