Considéré comme l'une des épreuves les plus techniques de l'athlétisme, rares sont les témoignages qui font état de son enseignement dans les cours d'éducation physique. Dans ce cas, il est normal que les problèmes rencontrés pour l'enseignement des épreuves moins exigeantes s'amplifient. Cependant, lorsque l'on connaît l'histoire du saut à la perche, on constate qu'il était autrefois plus proche de la nature, lorsqu'on utilisait des équipements simples et peu coûteux. In diesem Fall ist es normal, dass sich die Probleme, die beim Unterricht weniger anspruchsvoller Disziplinen auftreten, noch verstärken. Wenn wir uns jedoch mit der Geschichte des Stabhochsprungs befassen, stellen wir fest, dass diese Disziplin früher näher an der Natur war, als einfache und kostengünstige Materialien verwendet wurden. Die Geschichte zeigt auch, dass der Stabhochsprung im Laufe der Zeit neben dem sportlichen Wettkampf auch für andere Zwecke praktiziert wurde. In diesem Sinne schlagen wir vor, ihn auf der Grundlage seiner Geschichte zu unterrichten und bieten Alternativen für diejenigen, die ihren Schülern eine andere, herausfordernde Aktivität beibringen möchten, aber nicht über spezifisches Unterrichtsmaterial verfügen. …
