Ex-Library association - withdrawn from the Barstow High School Library where the book was printed. An excellent history that fills a gap in the historic research of the Mojave desert. The authors researched this book for two years before bringing to publication. Scarce. The maps reproduce the Mormon Trail, the Trail of Father Garces and the old government road which became Route 66. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
