These are lithographed after drawings by the author, George Frederick Leycester Marshall (1843-1934), who was a colonel in the Indian army, a Companion in the Most Eminent Order of the Indian Empire, and a naturalist with a primary interest in birds and butterflies.The edges and corners of the boards and spine are slightly scuffed.
