    Hardcover. Condition: Good. Two volumes, complete. Brown leather with gilt spine titling and decoration; leather has heavy shelf-wear, spines rubbed to the point the titling is gone or obscured, with frayed corners and minor loss to spine ends at both volumes. Front outer hinge of volume two cracked; front hinge of volume one cracked through with exposed threads, although the threads appear strong and the front board's connection to the book, while delicate, is holding. Pages foxed. Interior else unmarked.

    Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Illustrated by Anton Blomberg (illustrator). 427 p. 21 cm. Square binding with cloth covered spine and paper-covered, illustrated boards. Endpapers are split along front hinge but binding is still holding well. Worn through along the edges and spine ends. Spine faded. Darkening to edges of lower board. Text block edges are somewhat grimy. Shelf rubbed overall. Previous owner's name and a couple of tiny stamps on the front endpapers. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with some toning mostly along edges. Presents better than it sounds. A Swedish edition of Frederick Marryatt's 1840 novel Poor Jack. Illustrated with black and white engravings. No. 69 of the publisher's Ungdomens Bibliotek.

Front free endpaper is missing and rear hinge is split, but is still holding fairly well. Worn through along the edges, and at the corners and spine ends. Spine titles and decoration is dulled. Lower board shows soil. Shelf rubbed overall. Previous owner's name on the front endpaper. Inside pages have occasional staining and soil and toning to the edges. A Swedish edition of Frederick Marryatt's 1836 novel The Pirate. Illustrated with black and white engravings. No. 80 of the publisher's Ungdomens Bibliotek.

Robinson by E.D, French, 1900. Pencil signature of Robinson, December 14th, 1871 on the page before title. 399 pages + 407 pages. Charles Leonard Frost Robinson was President of The Colt Patent Firearms Co., he died in 1916. Small book blinders label on the verso of the front free endpaper.
