In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with wear to the extermities, fading to the red print of the spine panel, soiling and toning to the rear panel but on the a much nicer example of this dust jacket than normally encountered. The first English translation by John Marks of Celine's debut novel, which is one of the best examples of dark humor in 20th Century fiction. Uncommon in jacket.
