    Condition: Good. Unpublished. 8vo. pp. [iv], [24,] [i]. Coloured illustrations throughout. Original cream illustrated boards. Address of Kika Markham, 3, Peyton Place S.E.10. on inside cover, previous address crossed out. Handwritten title page with pastedown black and white illustration and amusing made up publishing details on paper. Final page with illustration on paper. 24pp. coloured pastedown illustrations in pen and possibly gouache mounted on thick board, some double-page, sometimes part of the illustration has been painted directly onto the board. Typed pastedown text with handwritten corrections. A collaboration between Markham and Burrows of a handmade story for children. Kika Markham (born 1940) an actress with a long career in theatre, film and television was married to the actor Corin Redgrave until his death in 2010. Ken Burrows aka Kenn Burrows, an artist who settled in Cambridge, was famous for his Please Avoid the Rush Hour poster for London Transport in 1965 and a cockerel which adorned the set of ITV's Coronation Street for many years. The contents has been taped but is now mostly loose. Some wear to spine and corners of boards, otherwise very good. Some wear to boards, contents loose.
