Die Akademie nahm ihn unter ihre Schutzverwandten auf [.] Mark war ein wohlhabender Mann und seit 1804 Eigenthümer eines Hauses in der Vorstadt Margarethen" (ADB). "Man hat von seiner Hand eine Anzahl schöner Blätter, die neben den besten chalkographischen Erzeugnissen seiner Zeit eine Stelle finden können" (Nagler). - Namensstempel a.d.
