Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Near Fine. See scans and description.New York: Fairchild Publications, Inc., 1999. The August,1999 issue of Details Magazine, with a callow 17-year old LeeLee Sobieski cover, and, of course, inside. The first incarnation of this male-interests magazine, Condé Nast. Large Quarto, glossy illustrated perfect-bound wraps, 140 pp. Very Good, with small but somewhat numerous signs of exterior wear; no too terribly far from Near Fine. Now kept in sealed storage, on premises. A fairly scarce issue in this condition of the long-lived men's fashion and topical magazine, with the expected high level photography and fashion/style/celebrity journalism. Scarce LeeLee cover, too, at that age. In addition to her - fresh out of Eyes Wide Shut at the time - some of the other foci are: Blair Witch Exclusive; London Falling (a drink); Shannon Elizabeth; Edward Bodkin, Castrator; Fall Fashion for Men; Kawa; Absinthe; a lot more. Collectible genre issue from one of the most skilled publishers in it. See all scans. Ships in a sturdy, new, protective box - not a bag. LPR39.

Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Near Fine. See scans and description.New York: Fairchild Publications, Inc., 1999. The October,1999 issue of Details Magazine, with a callow 23-year old Milla Jovovich cover, and, of course, inside. In this first incarantion under Condé Nast, Details featured Scratch and Sniff spines, and this issue features a Pineapple S&S spine - which has never been tried, but may or may not retain the scent if you essay it. At least one or two scent-panel ads are inside, as well, and at least one of those does retain modest redolence as of this listing. Not guarantees on the scents, but it is stored in a sealed bag. Large Quarto, glossy illustrated perfect-bound wraps, and a hearty 200 pp. Near Fine, with thin rear cover scratches (see scan), otherwise flawless. Kept in sealed storage, on premises, since scquisition. Sharp. A fairly scarce issue in this condition of the long-lived men's fashion and topical magazine, with the expected high level photography and fashion/style/celebrity journalism. In addition to Milla, the fifth and best element, but (see scans of contents pages) some of the other foci are: Hep-C; Webbie Tookay; Rosario Dawson; The Melissa Virus; Selling a Murder House; Outer(Limits) Wear; a lot more.
