Each book in the limited edition, 23-book series began with a fiction text created by a contributing writer, which was then passed along to a contributing artist who made drawings in response to the story. Finally, the text and art were given to a designer who created a unique design. The project debuted in 2007 with an exhibition at Steve Turner Contemporary gallery and a book launch at MOCA and the Pacific Design Center.
