Hardcover. Condition: new. Hardcover. Remembering Tigers is the ninth book in the celebrated Remembering Wildlife fundraising series, which has so far raised more than 1.28m GBP / $1.66m USD for conservation projects since it began in 2016. The aim of the creators is to make the most beautiful book ever seen on a species and to use that to raise awareness of the plight facing that animal and also funds to protect it. Each book is full of images generously donated by many of the world's top wildlife photographers, with 75 contributing this year. The magnificent tiger once roamed Asia in its hundreds of thousands, the most awesome apex predator and largest wild cat of them all. Both feared and revered, they were systematically eradicated from much of that range by both loss of habitat and also by relentless hunting. Killed for their pelts and body parts, for trophies and trade and also because of fear of attack. Nowadays, hunting of tigers for sport is no longer legal in the wild but criminal poaching remains a serious threat. And like many of the other species featured in the Remembering Wildlife series, conflict with humans is increasing too. The need for solutions to mitigate that against an ever-growing human population, is particularly pressing. In many ways, tiger conservation in recent years can be applauded as a success story, with numbers thankfully ticking up to around 5,500. But successes are uneven, with some tiger populations being lost entirely in the last ten years. So now is not time for complacency. With this book, we hope to shine a light on the challenges that still remain, in the hope that the fight for their conservation is never relaxed. We are supported once again by many of the world's top wildlife photographers, who have generously donated their images to this book. From snowy forests in Siberia to humid swamps in India, we showcase the variety of their habitats and the stunning beauty of tigers on these pages. And as we explain, it is not just a moral imperative that these tigers are saved, it is an ecological one too. By preserving their presence in the wild, we are saving ourselves. Remembering Tigers won Bronze in the Photography Category at the 2025 Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY Awards). Remembering Tigers is the ninth book in the Remembering Wildlife charity photography series. The aim of the creators is to make the most beautiful photographic book ever seen on a species and to use that to raise awareness of the plight facing that animal and also funds to protect it. Hardcover. Condition: new. Hardcover. - Remembering Bears is the stunning seventh book in the Remembering Wildlife charity series- The aim of the creators is to make the most beautiful photographic book ever seen on a species and to use that to raise awareness of the plight facing that animal and also funds to protect it- Remembering Bears is full of images generously donated by many of the world's top wildlife photographers- All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to projects working to protect bearsRemembering Bears is the seventh book in the Remembering Wildlife fundraising series, which has so far raised more than USD $1.2 million for conservation. For the 7th book in the much-lauded Remembering Wildlife series, the organizers have chosen for the first time to leave Africa and to feature bears. There are eight species of bear: American black bears, Andean bears, Asiatic black bears, brown bears, giant pandas, polar bears, sloth bears and sun bears. There are fascinating differences between them, which have implications for their behavior, evolution and conservation. Their habitats range from forests to woodland, grasslands to sea ice and their behaviors reflect that too. From climbing to swimming, fishing to hibernation, their differences are intriguing and captivating and through stunning imagery this book will show that and also bring attention to the threats they face. Like all of the species we've previously featured in our series, the challenges bears face are all sadly, once again man-made. From climate change to habitat loss; and from hunting to the illegal trade in body parts, including the Asiatic bear bile trade, our impact threatens their very future on this planet. Remembering Bears will feature images from more than 80 of the world's best wildlife photographers, showing bears in their natural habitats from China to Peru, Alaska to Borneo. The 7th book in the collaborative Remembering Wildlife fundraising book series. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…

Hardback. Condition: Very Good. Remembering African Wild Dogs is the sixth book in the celebrated Remembering Wildlife fundraising series, which has so far raised more than £1.28m GBP / $1.66m USD for conservation projects since it began in 2016. The aim of the creators is to make the most beautiful book ever seen on a species and to use that to raise awareness of the plight facing that animal and also funds to protect it. Each book is full of images generously donated by many of the world's top wildlife photographers, with more than 80 contributing this year. Of all the species we have featured in the Remembering Wildlife series so far, the African wild dog is perhaps the least well-known and certainly the animal that the fewest readers will have seen for themselves. And yet out there, across the sun-drenched plains, on the hilltops and deep in the rocky valleys, still run packs of this magical, almost mythical species. The question is, for how much longer? Across Africa, these painted wolves (as they are also known) have historically been persecuted beyond measure, reduced from around 500,000 to roughly only 6,600 today. Their eradication has been intentional, often driven by fear and ignorance but also by simple human arrogance. Add to that the challenges of habitat loss and climate change, and the pressures they face seem almost insurmountable. With this book, our aim is to inspire a reappraisal of this beautiful creature and through its sale, we aim to raise funds for those working passionately to protect it. We are supported in this mission by many of the world's top wildlife photographers, who have all generously donated their work for this stunning collection of images. Together, we are determined to make a difference for the African wild dog, before time runs out and the last, haunting, hoo-call is lost forever.…

Hardcover. Condition: new. Hardcover. 10 Years of Remembering Wildlife celebrates a decade of the fundraising book series, Remembering Wildlife, which has so far donated more than 1.28m GBP / $1.66m USD to conservation causes. This special anniversary edition has a special focus on the world's most trafficked mammal, the pangolin. The elusive and shy pangolin is one of the least-known animals on Earth and yet it also holds the dubious moniker of being the most trafficked. Poached for its scales and meat, more than one million have been taken from the wild in the past decade alone. Having evolved when threatened to curl up tightly into a ball, this is no defence against poachers and all eight species are now either endangered or critically endangered. Pangolins are believed to be one of the oldest mammal groups on Earth, dating back some 80 million years to prehistoric times. And yet, in the comparatively mere 200,000 years that humans have been on Earth, we have managed to hunt them almost to oblivion. They desperately need our help. With this book, we aim to shine a spotlight on their secretive world with the hope that people want to save what they know and love. Despite how rare images of them are, we've assembled beautiful photographs of both ground and tree-climbing species across Africa and Asia. And as this is notably the 10th book in the Remembering Wildlife series, we are also taking the opportunity to share and celebrate some of the best images from the last decade. As a collection, the book stands as one of the most beautiful tributes to wildlife the world has ever seen, illustrating just what we might end up only remembering in picture books, without concerted action. 10 Years of Remembering Wildlife won Silver in the Nature category at the 2026 Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY Awards). The 10th book in the groundbreaking wildlife conservation photo book series will feature images from previous books in the series plus new images of pangolins Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…
