Artwork by the Italian artist and industrial designer Marcello Nizzoli (1887-1969) known for his advertising work with Campari and Olivetti (for whom he also designed typewriters). Issued to advertise Leon Houard Boulevard du Jardin Zoologique 7 Gand, a shop in Ghent selling Fabrique Nationale bikes. Established in 1889 the Belgian company Fabrique Nationale de Herstal initially manufactured arms and ammunition then motorcycles and mopeds from 1901-1967. Large size.
