Um die Wirkung des Ekels auf moralisches Verhalten zu untersuchen, wird ein Experiment durchgeführt. Dieses Experiment hat zwei Bedingungen. In der experimentellen Bedingung wird Ekel durch einen Filmclip evoziert und in der Kontrollbedingung werden keine spezifischen Emotionen hervorgerufen. Nach dem Ansehen des Filmclips mussten die Teilnehmer eine Matheaufgabe lösen, bei der sie schummeln konnten. Betrügen gilt als wichtiger Indikator für unmoralisches Verhalten. Die Ergebnisse zeigen einen Trend, der darauf hindeutet, dass Personen, die Ekel empfinden, sich weniger moralisch verhalten als Personen in einem neutralen emotionalen Zustand. Ce travail explore l'effet des émotions sur le comportement moral. Plus précisément, le dégoût émotionnel est choisi pour explorer cette relation. Pour étudier l'effet du dégoût sur le comportement moral, une expérience est menée. Cette expérience est soumise à deux conditions. Dans la condition expérimentale, le dégoût est évoqué par un clip vidéo et dans la condition de contrôle, aucune émotion spécifique n'est évoquée. Après avoir regardé le clip vidéo, les participants devaient accomplir une tâche mathématique sur laquelle ils pouvaient tricher. La tricherie est considérée comme un indicateur important de comportement immoral. Les résultats montrent une tendance qui suggère que les individus qui éprouvent du dégoût se comportent moins moralement que les individus dans un état émotionnel neutre.
