Cream cloth binding with gilt decoration and lettering to front board and spine, some darkening to spine and the odd mark but overall quite clean. Upper page edges gilt, fore-edges and lower edges deckled and opened reasonably neatly though with some jagged edges. Lower edges very clean, upper and fore-edges a bit marked, some marking to gilt on upper edges. Blue cloth ribbon marked, a little frayed at edge but having largely retained its colour. Some slackness to binding, the odd bit of strain, but otherwise good.
