Blue Cloth. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Alfons Mucha, A. Majer, Toyen, Heytm, F. Tichy, V. Rabas, J. Capek, K. Biebl, J. Seifert, V. Nezval, A. Hoffmeister, J. Hora, J. Horejsi (illustrator). First Edition. 103pp. + (iv) notes on contributors & colophon. + 12 full page plates. R. Welleck & Z. Pessat provide introductory pieces & Z. Kalista adds a postscript reminiscence. Beautifully produced book with silver gilt edged pages. All the print is raised proud from the page & is easily felt beneath the finger; this is particularly evident with the plates which are printed on shiny paper. Colour illustration by Alfons Mucha tipped onto front cover; all others are in black & white. This copy came from the library of Ewald Osers who contributed a number of the translations. Rear panel of the glassine dust jacket is nicked & its tail is a little torn & creased. Scarce.
