Light salmon pink boards and backstrip with color illustration of ladybug, butterfly, etc. on the front board. Lots of color and black & white photographs and illustrations throughout text. Bright salmon endpapers. Book is tight. The boards have some light soiling; edgewear, and deeply bumped corners with fraying. The words "Junior Scientist" on the front board are underlined in ink. The backstrip has edgewear with a little fraying on the top & bottom. The previous owner wrote "4" close to the bottom edge of the backstrip. Leaves are in very good condition with no markings.
