An attractive and solid copy of this extensive study of the decline of breeding seabirds of the Caribbean, with a chapter devoted to each of the Caribbean nations, demonstrating "the pervasive nature of the population declines of seabirds and the widespread disappearance of their breeding sites; the loss of critical inshore feeding habitat through destruction and pollution; and the increasing threats to offshore habitats and species" (Foreword).
