Cloth, crown 4to, 245 x 185 mm, 48 pp. The puns are from Puniana (1867) and More puniana (1875), compiled by Hugh Rowley, here selected and introduced by Bevis Hillier. Line-block reproductions of 28 drawings by Peter MacKarell. Printed in black and purple on white Basingwerk Parchment paper on the Wharfedale press. Bound by the Pitman Press, Bath, in purplish-blue imitation cloth, with Glastonbury Lavender Antique Laid endpapers. Matching dust-jacket printed in maroon and black, with a drawing repeated from the text on the front. Copy No. 589. A little pulled at the front hinge, otherwise Near Fine in dustwrapper.
