Card Covers. Condition: Good. Second Revised Edition. 122 p. 18.5 cm. Sound and square binding in cardstock covers with bevelled edges. Gatherings are somewhat sprung. Creases along the spine length. Tiny splits to covers at spine ends. Creases to front fore-corners. A little light soil, including a few small stains. Previous owner's name and date (1949) on the title page. Otherwise the inside pages are clean and unmarked. A revised and entirely re-written edition of this work on the art of Morris dancing.

Original Wraps. Condition: Very Good. First Thus. Complete in six small 8vo volumes, in various paginations. Containing: A Description of Traditional Dances Collected in Country Villages, Country Dances from The English Dancing Master, The Running Set collected in Kentucky, U.S.A. Mixed edition- Parts 1 and 5 are first editions, Part 4 is a third edition, and Parts 3 and 6 are second editions. Includes two copies of Part 2- one second edition, and one third. Published from 1909-1927. With numerous black & white plates, illustrations, and musical notation throughout. Bound in original printed wrappers with yapped edges. In good to excellent condition, generally clean and tight, with no signs of prior ownership. One volume has a small bookseller label (Kamin Dance Bookshop) to corner of front cover. Some wear and rubbing to extremities, more so on the first two volumes. Part 1 is lacking the rear wrapper. A very nice set overall, now protected in a clear Mylar sleeve.
