Cloth spine, front board shows boy and girl in snow (girl carrying parcels). Full-page colour and b/w text illustrations. First story is "How Toby Came To Tea" by E.S. Spine bumped and frayed. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges worn. Front board is scratched and rear board grubby. Some hinges cracked. Inscription to front endpaper plus '1 Hedges' stamped in ink. A second inscription plus name and address in belongs to box. Foxing to endpapers and page edges. Neat colouring to some b/w illustrations. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Buff Cardboards with blue tone picture of boy and girl pretending to be pirates. Spine missing hence binding a bit loose.Boards a little grubby and worn. Blue/buff and Green/Buff illustrations throughout. Two tri-tone colour illustrations. Thick cardboard pages. First story is "The Boy who Wouldn't Get Up" 127 pages of stories and .poems for younger children of the time. Book.

Publisher's paper covered boards, the edges a little worn and sullied, the spine with wear and losses at the ends and a little toned. Gift inscription to the front endpaper. Binding rather strained at page 9, the plate opp. page 13 loose but present. Leaves occasionally foxed and toned at the edges. Illustrated with seven double-sided colour plates. A very scarce early 20th century work for children.
