A strange a beautiful collection of vintage photographs by Luis Ksado - the namesake of a recently created European photography award, won in 1999 by Peter Marlow - of religious artifacts, buildings, locations and persons in the Santiago de Compostela archbishopric of Galicia, Spain. Introduced by Salvador Cabeza de Leon. The theme is that of documenting the home of the Compostela, or Compostelana, a revered religious parchment artifact which lies in the archbishopric. The Ksado photographs are a testament to the depth of Compostelana spirituality in the area, which is also the focus of modern-day pilgrimages. Probably quite rare; another copy is mentioned in the "Archivo do Kingdom of Galicia" Probably not replaceable. See scans. Lg6.
