First edition, first printing. 1969 copyright date followed by the statement, "While this publication was on press, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe died in Chicago on August 17, 1969, in his eighty-fourth year." Huge and heavy spiral-bound 24.5" x 18" folio hardcover. Illustrated with 31…plates followed by 12 pages of notes and preceded by a three-page introduction. All on thick heavy-weight paper. Gold covers with black lettering. In VERY GOOD condition. The metal spiral binding is strong and sound with no damage. Both covers show light surface wear and light wear to the edges. Top corner of the front cover is creased and the top corners of most of the following pages are also lightly creased. Pages are all clean with light age-toning.
