Inscription on front flyleaf reads: Mildred White Yoars, Pheasant Field Seven Gates Farm The Vineyard, 1959 - one of the sponsors. The book was sponsored by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Pen note by former owner on p. 146 takes credit for a yellow-headed blackbird sighting. Small newspaper clipping laid in references the former owner and her sightings (some light shadowing of pages from that clipping where it's laid in).
