Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Large softcover, with jacket. 4to(8.5 x 11 in.). Published in conjunction with an exhibition at Santa Fe East in June, 1982. Inscribed and signed on the title page to artist R.C. Gorman. This is an unusual softcover with a separate dust jacket. The book itself has solid sky blue wraps with white titling on the front. It is in nice shape with very light surface wear. Inside pages are clean. The jacket cover in wraps is the painting "New Mexico Village". It shows age with some paper missing at the spine-top. Small separation on the rear cover. Ms. Longley was an accomplished artist but not widely known. Primarily a painter, she also sculpted and did printmaking. This is her first exhibition catalog and the exhibit was her first retrospective. There 27 reproductions and an interesting section called her scrapbook with newspaper articles, photos and commentary. A most interesting journey. Inscribed by Author(s).
