large 8vo., [xii, 547pp., numerous figures to text, large folding chart] [xvi, 256pp. + xii, 511pp + 2pp, 213 figures to text, original wrappers bound in, both volumes attractively bound in later very good quality half calf over marbled boards, spines lettered in gilt with raised bands. A fine handsome set of these important monographs on the yeasts. The first part entitled "Die Sporogenen Hefen" by Stelling-Dekker was published in 1931. The second and third parts entitled "Die Anaskosporogenen Hefen" by Lodder and Diddens was published between 1934-42 as a thesis at the University of Utrecht.
