Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. The author, 12/24/1914-1/22/2000, signed this volume on the verso side of the half-title page, the page opposite the title page. The author was the editor of the weekly "Philippines Free Press" Additionally, there is a hand written note from the author's son laid in. This note is on the son's letter head, per Wikipedia the son is currently the Ambassador for the Philippines to Great Britain and previously served as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs. The art work for this 167 page volume was created by Esmeraldo Z. Izon and are full page images which are done in a sepia tone. The boards are covered in brown cloth and have gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. There is a small green mark on the bottom edge which has bled into the bottom edge of about 6 pages. All edges are toned, and there is also some toning to the rear paste down. There is a bit of a bend to the upper quarter inch of the spine, but the spine ends are sharp. There is a small area of discoloration on the dedication page which is also see on the first page of text, but does not interfere with the text.T The dust jacket is present and is not torn. There are, however, some wrinkles, bends to the cover along the edges and at the corners. The dust jacket is currently protected by a clear removable cover. Signed by Author(s).
