With 62 full-color flower stamps pasted on to blank insets on alternate pages of the text. Background illustrations for the insets signed by Dotterer. Opposite the pages with flower stamps are full descriptions of each flower, including habitat, color, blooming times, and the like. Color pictorial paper over boards with red cloth spine with an image on the front cover of four children gathering flowers in a field and an image on the rear cover of a bunch of flowers growing in a field. Additional cover title: "To keep busy the little hands and little head." In a cartouche on the front cover is the following: Gummed Pictures to Cut Out and Paste. Minor wear to extremities with the corners just barely rubbed through, red cloth spine very slightly faded, small abrasion on lower right corner of front cover [price sticker removed?], covers very lightly soiled, faint musty odor (but no mildew residue or mold), else very good to near fine with all flower stamps neatly pasted in and with no internal markings. No dust jacket. Dotterer is probably Lloyd J. Dotterer who also illustrated MY STAMP BOOK OF TREES. A PUT-TOGETHER BOOK (1930) and numerous other children's books and Boy Scout titles.
