Non-Book. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. AN ORIGINAL GOACHE PAINTING by HELMUT LINSSER. Helmut Linsser was born in Meiningen, Germany in 1920 and died in Canada in 2003. A student of mathematics, in his Expressonist art, Linsser strove to display a balance between the geometry and the spirit of nature and the architecture of the human spirit. A student of Fernand Leger, Frank Schaeffer in the mide 1950's, seeing the talent in the young Linsser encouraged Helmut to pursue a life in art. Linsser left behind him a body of extraordinary work that is at the same time uplifting and transfixing. This painting measures 26" x 20" and is offered unframed. It is remarkable in its perspective, that even on close examination looks three dimensional in appearance. This painting is a mixed media of goauche and sand. A gorgeous piece. ; 26" x 20".
