hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. Softcover booklet bound into boards, (approx. 6" wide by 9" tall), 110 pages. Ex-library with stamps pocket, etc. Small hole in top margin for first 50 pages of book--does not affect text. The author was a research associate with the College of Economics and Business at the University of Washington. "He was graduated in 1940 from the College of Railway Administration, Chiaotung University, Shanghai, and thereafter worked for two years on the field staff of the Chinese National Railways. He spent the next two years teaching at Chiaotung University. In connection with his teaching duties, he also conducted research on the postwar modernization of Chinese railway practices." -- from the foreword. 061507A.
