Samuel Weiser occult Bookstore label inside (illustrator). First Edition published in Great Britain by by Regency Press in 1967. RARE book on spiritualism. 98 pages. The textblock is clean & bright and has no tears, or unwanted markings. The is an hardback with teal blue Good condition cloth covers. There is a flaw which makes it FAIR, rather than GOOD, if not better and that is that the endpapers; in the front and the rear have been torn out. I listed it anyway, as it is so scarce and because it has the "Samuel Weiser Inc." Bookstore label inside: "Weiser Antiquarian Books is the oldest occult bookstore in the United States. It specialises in books on Aleister Crowley and his circle, magic, mysticism, eastern religions and alternative spirituality. Its earlier New York incarnation, The Weiser Bookshop, was described by Leslie A. Shepherd as perhaps the most famous occult bookstore in the U.S." wikipedia The book explores the subjects of guardian angels and spirit companions, covering topics such as personal experiences with spiritual guidance and whether people believe in or have seen angels. Many people who conduct séance have a spiritual guide as you probably are aware and this author discusses these entities at length.

An excellent copy of the 1967 first edition of Lindsay-Blee's intriguing book. Pages are first rate: no inscriptions, no markings or tanning at all. Spine and binding excellent. Dust jacket is excellent: looks clipped but in fact price is intact; no loss at all and beautiful bright colours survive nicely to cover.
