Léon-Charles Libonis(1846 à 1901) fut un dessinateur, artiste peintre, sculpteur et graveur français du dix neuvième siècle mort en 1901 .À l'occasion de l'exposition universelle de Paris en 1889, il créa la toute première carte postale illustrée française. Celle qu'on appellera plus tard La Li…bonis représente la Tour Eiffel, elle fut tirée à 300 000 exemplaires. En 1894 il rédigea et dessina 900 gravures d' un ouvrage reconnu en Histoire de l' Art qui fut publié en 3 volumes par Henri Laurens : Styles Français, Antiquite-Orient-Extreme Orient, Arts modernes. Le recueil relié que je vends est consacré aux styles français Renaissance, Louis XIII, Louis XIV, Louis XV et Empire. Il contient 100 pages (16+12+20+20+20+12)dont 24 de textes (4+4+4+4+4+4)et 249gravures(52+25+50+52+50+25). Publié par Henri Laurens en 1894, reliure artisanale moderne demi veau en bon état avec un dos à cinq nerfs orné d' une pièce de titre dorée à l' or fin , intérieur en assez bon état, format 30,5 X25X3 cm, 100 pages.
