These 217 pages tell that family ( and more broadly, provincial) tale. Text assisted by one map and a few b/w (early) photographs. Read more about: North-West Council, truckle-beds, Fort Benton, seamstresses, settlers, aspirations, Macleod, F.W.G. Haultain, Lord Dufferin, Church of England, Viewfield, Colonel Alfred Wyndham, and John Ware. Cond : Paper wrapper is cream colouured with black lettering. Front cover photograph - hand-painted - is of the Cottonwoods Ranch. Very minor edge wear. No names nor tears. Clean tight and bright, Excellent reading copy !
