June 28, 1959, date stamp on the verso, along with the stamp of photographer Lew Parrella. Feiffer has worked prolifically as a newspaper cartoonist, adult and children's book author, illustrator, and screenwriter throughout his six-decade career. He received the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning in 1986, won an Academy Award for his 1960 animated short film, "Munro," in 1961, and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Writers Guild of America in 2010.
