Previous owner's pencil notation front and rear, having begun to read "in the Dining room" 7:30 pm 23 October 1899; finishing the next morning at 9:45 "in the office". Light rubbing to extremities; foxing to first few and final few leaves. Top edge gilt. A volume in The Scott Library series. 7 x 4.8 inches.
