Leipheimer und Mende (ab 1871 unter diesem Namen; zuvor Mathiß und Leipheimer, ab 1861 Hoflieferant), war ein alteingesessenes Karlsruher Stoff- und Tuchhandelsgeschäft in der Kaiserstraße 169 (?) bis in die 1960er Jahre. Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts hatte Leipheimer & Mende um die 80 Beschäftigte. 1934 das 100-jährige Jubiläum.

Gut erhalten. ---- Max Leipheimer, Firma Leipheimer und Mende, Sohn von Georg Leipheimer. Texttilhändler aus Karlsruhe. Max Leipheimer war Mitbegründer des Skiclubs Todtnauberg, einige Ehrenämter wurden ihm verliehen und er wurde zum Ehrenbürger der Gemeinde Todtnauberg ernannt. Erbauer des Herrihofs. Max Leipheimer war den Todtnaubergern sehr verbunden. Gerade in den Kriegsjahren des 1.Weltkrieges unterstützte er die arme Bevölkerung sehr aufopferungsvoll. In seinem Haus fand jeder eine herzliche Gastfreundschaft, egal ob Einheimischer oder so manch anderer Gast. Auch die Großherzogin von Baden beendete nach einem winterlichen Spaziergang den Tag mit einem Glas Rotwein am warmen Ofen des Herrihofes.
