Hardcover book Black cloth lettered in gilt to spine, and pictorial dustjacket with painted image of hawk on glove to front. 163pp plus index. With b&w illustrations in plates and text by George Lodge (reproductions of his paintings of various falconry birds), as well as some engravings and photographic reproductions (note that most of the images are by Lodge, (who was an excellent artist) but this edition does not seem to have all the illustrations (eg by Charlton and Moore) that featured in the original Badminton Library edition. A Fine copy in a Very Good jacket , which has light browning. Pictures available.
