"Picturesque Morocco: Fès-Meknes and the région" contains alternating pages of striking photogravures and captions, with a total of 112 images taken in September 1916, during an official visit of Sultan Yusef of Morocco to the Imperial cities of Fès and Meknès. Each photogravure measures 4 3/4 x 6 1/2". Some rubbing along edges of binding, with some age-toning and clear water-staining to pastedowns. Sporadic foxing / age-toning throughout. Text and captions in French. Binding in overall good-, interior in good to very good condition.
