Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. I have finally decided to list this book but had hesitated for some time because it has some mouse chew on the bottom of the front covers (which does not affect its content). Please find then: "Years of Art- The Story of the Art Students League of New York" by Marchal E. Landgren, with an Introduction by Walter Pach. My decision to list the book because as far as I can tell, it is not a very common book and because the rest of the book is in really nice condition. Please see the photos including that of the Table of Contents for your information. This is the First Edition (so stated) and as is only right, it is very well illustrated, first with a series of illustrations which are part of the text of the history and then with the final pages presenting 72 plates by past students. Condition: This book is in good condition; and the mice liked it. As mentioned though, they chewed up the bottom edges of the lower portions of the boards (please see the photos). The rest of the blue denin boards are clean and bright, really unbumped and unblemished. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are bright white throughout without toning or foxing. The gilt titles on the spine a little worn but fully legible. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Many (illustrator).
