First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Photography by Tim Nutt, John Lambon, and Ian Stevens (illustrator). 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP). Appears to be signed and inscribed by the photographer and producer Tim Nutt. The inscription simply reads: 'Alice + David, Tim, June 97 '(see photo). You can see the covers in the photos. They look very good. The cover edges and corners are in excellent shape. There is one little crinkle at the top edge of the spine. The spine has a slight forward lean, but the book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The pages are exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I'm not finding any instances of soiling. I'm not finding any creasing. There is no crinkling at the junctures. There are no markings in the book. With the exception of the signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere. There is an envelope with a photograph of Hong Kong that appears to have been scotch taped to the rear inside cover. It is now loose and in coming off it left a little bit of a scuff on the rear inside cover in the two places where it was attached. There are no other attachments. The envelope states: 'Commemoration of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, People's Republic Of China, 1997. I will include a photograph. The book has a great many color photographs. They are all in excellent condition. Inscribed by Illustrator(s).

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Soybean (Glycine Max [L] Mirril) has become an important economic crop in Ghana with a potential to changing the lives of smallholder farmers especially in the savanna zone where the bulk is produced. It is used mostly at the household level in various diets including the popular condiment known as 'dawadawa' to improve the protein needs of the people especially children and nursing mothers. The crop also has the ability to replenish soil fertility through the process of biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) through rhizobia inoculation in the area where land degradation is on the increase. Due to the high level of soil fertility decline in the growing area, starter fertilizer to boost the initial growth of the crop is also recommended. It is against this background that interest in cultivation of the crop has witness tremendous increase over the last three decades. Research work on the crop has also increase within same period to make Ghana self sufficient and possibly a net exporter of the crop to the neighboring drier sub-Saharan countries. 168 pp. Englisch.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. 128 pp. Deutsch.
