Dados operacionais agrícolas e climatológicos a nível de campo foram extensivamente coletados do campo dos agricultores, Departamento de Agricultura, Governo de Manipur e Conselho Indiano de Pesquisa Agrícola (ICAR) Complexo de Pesquisa para a região NEH, Imphal, Manipur na Índia, os quais são então inseridos no programa de computador Visual Basic, para estimar a utilização de energia (MJ/ha) na irrigação de várias culturas.
