The exhibit traveled to Columbia University, the University of California, Los Angeles; the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Oregon, and the University of Chicago. The coordinators of the exhibit write: " We hope the present exhibition of Choson literati paintings will provide American museum audiences withan opportunity to be delighted by tyhe charm of the late Choson expressiveness and to experience the tranquility of Korean intellectualism.".
