All specimens with fibers showed initially decre…asing resistance upon compression, but on increasing the compressive load the resistance also increased. The increase in resistance was gradual upto 75% of the fracture stress, but it was abrupt and quite linear for stresses beyond this range (i.e., above 75% of fracture stress). Thus, among the concrete mixes containing variable percentages of carbon fibres, the ones having fibre percentage greater than 1.5 were most attractive, as they exhibited a combination of linearity (between resistivity and stress) and large fractional resistivity increase. 72 pp. Englisch.

Todas as amostras com fibras… mostraram inicialmente uma resistência decrescente na compressão, mas ao aumentar a carga compressiva a resistência também aumentou. O aumento da resistência foi gradual até 75% da tensão de fractura, mas foi abrupto e bastante linear para tensões para além deste intervalo (ou seja, acima de 75% da tensão de fractura). Alle Probekörp…er mit Fasern zeigten anfangs einen abnehmenden Widerstand bei der Kompression, aber mit zunehmender Druckbelastung nahm auch der Widerstand zu. Der Anstieg des Widerstands war bis zu 75 % der Bruchspannung allmählich, bei Spannungen jenseits dieses Bereichs (d. h. über 75 % der Bruchspannung) war er jedoch abrupt und recht linear. Unter den Betonmischungen, die unterschiedliche Anteile an Kohlenstofffasern enthalten, waren diejenigen mit einem Faseranteil von mehr als 1,5 am attraktivsten, da sie eine Kombination aus Linearität (zwischen Widerstand und Spannung) und einem starken Anstieg des Bruchwiderstands aufwiesen.
