A few impression marks and scratches to both boards. Lightly rubbed overall. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. The pop-ups and action triggers work, with the last pop-up having been reinforced with cello tape where it meets the background illustration. A reprint edition of an "All Action Pop-Up Book" with six double page spread illustrations, each with a pop-up by noted paper artist V. Kubasta. Two pages have action triggers that reveal the big, bad wolf. Printed in Czechoslovakia.

Soft cover. Condition: Poor. Vojtech Kubasta (illustrator). 1st Edition. First edition, 1964. Bright but damaged: pirate ship, whaling ship and battleship appear complete but with some creasing. The rest have lost pieces (eg. the viking warrior) and the figures of Tip and Top are missing. A project? Too interesting to bin!

Soft cover. Condition: Good. No jacket. English edition. Cover is shelf worn and slightly scratched with the corner edges being bumped. Spine is shaken, but binding is secure. The pop up pages are clean and unmarked.

The laminated boards have only light surface and edge wear. The book features six full colour pop-ups which are all in very good condition. The book was designed and illustrated by Vojtech Kubasta. I believe this was the first printing of the first UK edition. No jacket as issued.

When the communist government nationalised the entire publishing industry in 1948, Kuba ta had to search for new venues to market his artistic talent. He created three-dimensional cards that advertised porcelain, sewing machines, pencils, Pilsner beer, sunglasses, and other products. In 1956, he designed his first fairy tale pop-up book: Little Red Riding Hood. Kuba ta offered this pop-up book to the Prague-based ARTIA publishing house for publication.
