Ink inscription to the front free end paper, dated 1847. 12 plates. Collated complete. Knott's guide to helping students remember important dates in English history through the use of symbols, which are illustrated on plates throughout the text. The earliest events of English history, through to Queen Victoria's accession to the throne in 1837, are included in this work. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally very smart, with a little wear to the extremities. A small piece of cloth is lifting to the spine, and there is a small amount of splitting to the cloth to the joints at the head of the spine. Internally, the binding is slightly strained in a couple of places. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot throughout. Very Good. book.
