Includes contributions by Carl Van Vechten, Carl Van Doren, Willa Cather, H.M. Lydenberg, H.L. Mencken, Thomas Mann, Henry Seidel Canby, B.W. Huebsch and Adolf Kroch. Five of these contributors -- Van Vechten, Van Doren, Lydenberg, Mencken, and Huebsch -- have signed the volume on the rear flyleaves, as have twenty-six others, all presumably members of the Book Table, including Elmer Adler, Donald Brace, Bertram Wolff, Frederic G.
