Derselbe empfahl mir, für 'Witz und Satyre' nur Raum für c. 1/3 Seite einzunehmen, für welchen meine Zeichnungen auch berechn…et sind. Er stellte mir jedoch frei Monarchie-Republik und Despotie Anarchie auf 2 Blatt zu bringen, wobei er allerdings zufügte, daß es ihm angenehmer sei wenn die 4 Gegenstände auf 1 Blatt gingen [.] Über Ihr Anerbieten betreff Erwerbung des Werkes kann ich mich noch nicht schlüssig machen, umso mehr als ich den Preis nicht kenne und durch die Preisreduction schon beträchtlich verliere [.]". - Mit zeitgenöss.
